TrogMeme was founded by Marcus Vance, a crypto analyst with six years of experience tracking token launches across Ethereum, Solana, and Base chains. The site exists because most crypto news outlets treat meme coins as price tickers. We cover the culture, the contracts, and the community dynamics behind each token.
What makes TrogMeme different?
Three things separate this site from the dozens of crypto news aggregators in the space:
- Contract verification. Before writing about any token, we read the smart contract. We check for renounced ownership, locked liquidity, and holder distribution. If we cannot verify the contract, we do not cover the coin.
- No paid placements. We do not accept payment for coverage. No sponsored reviews, no pay-to-list, no undisclosed affiliate arrangements.
- Plain language. Crypto has a jargon problem. We write for people who want to understand what they are buying, not people who already know.
Editorial standards
Every article follows our published research methodology. Facts come from primary sources: blockchain explorers, official project documentation, SEC filings, and exchange APIs. When we cite a price, we link the source. When we state a risk, we explain what we checked.
We update published articles when material facts change and display a visible “Last reviewed” date on every post.
